Humpty Dumpty Cover Contest Winner Earns Money for Her School's Art Department

Britney Chen of San Marcos, CA, won first place in Humpty Dumpty Magazine's 11th Annual U.S. Kids Cover Contest. Two U.S. Kids staff members, art director Jenifer Saulovic and editor Julia Goodman, traveled to San Marcos to present Britney and her school, Discovery Elementary School, with prizes and a $1,500 check for the school's art program.

Jenifer explains why U.S. Kids staff and judges chose Britney's artwork to appear on the cover of Humpty Dumpty to Britney's classmates and teachers.

Discovery Elementary School is very proud of Britney and is excited to use the $1,500 donation that she won for her school on wonderful art supplies.
