Albert the Great

Albert the Great showed an egg.
I guess he must have cracked it;
Even though it disappeared,
It kept oozing from his jacket.

Albert the Great fanned the deck.
“Remember the card you chose.”
The deck went flying through the air!
“Your card is one of those.”

Albert the Great pulled a cloth
And jerked it to the floor.
Cups went Crash! Plates went Smash!
(He needs to practice more.)

Albert the Great opened a box;
Out popped a bird and mouse.
Some said, “Ooh!” Some said, “Eek!”
While running from the house.

Albert the Great took a bow,
Although the crowd was thin.
One or two clapped their hands …
So he did it all again!
