Dear Kids:
There’s a kid in my school who always brings unhealthy snacks to school. What should I do?
Trenna in Michigan
Dear Trenna:
You should politely ask the person to start bringing some healthy snacks to school and say that it’s better for them to eat healthy foods such as fruits and veggies, pretzels, cheese, and crackers. But too much of a good thing can be a bad thing.
I hope this solves your problem.
Sincerely,
Ava in Massachusetts
Oh, and with a big smile!!!!!!
Dear Trenna:

If someone is eating unhealthy in your class, I would say the best thing to do would be to tell the teacher. In most of the classes I’ve been in, we had to have healthy snacks. If your teacher thinks it’s fine, ignore his unhealthy eating habits but set a good example by bringing healthy snacks yourself.
Sincerely,
Lindsey in Illinois
Dear Trenna:
I have the same problem too. What I did was ask my teacher if I could teach the class during our health lesson about healthy eating habits. She agreed. I taught the class all about the food pyramid and even brought healthy snacks in to share! Everyone enjoyed it, and it solved the problem since they all began bringing in their own snacks too!

Dear Trenna:
I think that you should go up to that kid, and tell him or her that if you eat too much junk food you can get sick. Hope this helps!
