Icy Treats

Fruity Pops

You Will Need:

• Fruit juice (not pineapple juice)

OR

• Fresh fruit, washed

• Yogurt

• Ice pop molds or ice cube trays and toothpicks

Directions:

1. Fill each mold or ice cube tray with your favorite combination of fruit juices. Freeze until hard. Insert toothpicks. OR mash fresh fruit and mix with yogurt. Fill molds and freeze.

2. To make rainbow pops, fill each mold ¼ full with one color of juice or fruit mixture and freeze. Remove from freezer and add a second layer so molds are half-full, then freeze. Repeat until molds are filled.

Milkshake Pops

You Will Need:

• Low-fat milk

• Strawberries or raspberries, washed

• Ice pop molds or ice cube trays and toothpicks

Directions:

Mash the strawberries or raspberries. Combine low-fat milk with mashed fruit. Fill your molds and freeze.

Banana Pops

You Will Need:

• Banana

• Low-fat yogurt

• Sprinkles

Directions:

Peel a banana and place it in the freezer. Enjoy the frozen banana dipped in yogurt and topped with sprinkles.
