Ana Suzanna is the oldest. Baby Marco is the youngest. But Mia Maria is right in the middle.
One morning Ana Suzanna was getting on the school bus. Mama took a picture.
“I want to ride the school bus,” Mia Maria said.
“You are too little,” Mama told her.
At lunchtime baby Marco was drinking from his bottle. Mama took a picture.
“I want to drink from a bottle,” Mia Maria said.
“You are too big,” said Mama.
Mia Maria sat on the floor and emptied a bucket of wooden blocks. The blocks were all shapes and colors. Mia Maria stacked the blocks and made a tall tower. Then she placed a yellow triangle on the top. Mama took a picture!
Mia Maria is not too little. She is not too big. She is Mia in the middle. And that is just right.
