Your privacy and children’s privacy are important to us. This privacy policy explains our information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used by U.S. Kids.

For each visitor to our website, our server automatically recognizes information regarding your IP address and domain but does not recognize any information regarding your email address. We collect information volunteered by the consumer through services such as survey information and/or site registrations. We will use any personal information, such as email address, mailing address, and phone number, to notify the child and his or her parents that he or she will be featured on the website. If a child participates in a contest, we will use any personal information to notify you if you have won. We will provide direct notice to parents before collecting children’s information and give them the choice to consent to the information’s use and review the information before it’s published.

We may use your personal information to contact you when we make changes to subscriber agreements, to fulfill a request by you for an online newsletter, or to contact you about your account with us. We will disclose information we maintain when required to do so by law. We may also disclose personal information in response to a law enforcement agency’s request.

With respect to Ad Servers: We use a third-party service to manage and display our advertisements. This company places a cookie on your computer each time you visit the site only to determine what ads you have and haven’t seen. This ensures that you will see relevant ads to the article or content you are viewing. The cookie does track basic information on our site and the site that preceded and came after your visit to our site.

From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future, we will post the policy changes to our website to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.
