Ask an adult to help you make a “swarm” of yummy bees to share with your friends. (Makes 28 bees.)
• Mixing bowl and spoon
• 1/2 cup reduced-fat peanut butter
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1/3 cup nonfat dry milk
• 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
• 2 tablespoons wheat germ
• Waxed paper
• Baking sheet
• 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
• Toothpick
• Sliced almonds
1. Wash your hands.
2. Stir the peanut butter and honey together in the mixing bowl. Add the dry milk, sesame seeds, and wheat germ and mix well.
3. Place a piece of waxed paper on the baking sheet. Scoop out teaspoonfuls of the mixture and roll them into rounded ovals. Place them
on the waxed paper.
4. Dip the toothpick in the cocoa powder, then gently press across the top of the bees to make brown stripes.
5. Stick two almond slices in the sides of each bee for wings. Refrigerate the bees for 30 minutes and enjoy!
